The Zodiac Art Boost Seminar is an online seminar (Feb 1-17, 6-8 PM, Pacific Time) to learn the basics of astrology and how to apply them to all aspects of your life and career as an artist to maximize creativity and success.
The seminar is conducted by Mat Gleason via the ZOOM online platform. Mat is uniquely situated to conduct a course drawing on his two areas of expertise – contemporary art and classical astrology. Well known as an art writer and curator since the early 1990s, he has also been employed as a professional astrologer behind the scenes for nearly as long.
For many years Mat has conducted “Art World Bootcamp”, a seminar which gives artists tools to network through the art world. Many graduates of AWB saw their careers accelerate when these methods were applied, some subsequently exhibited at the museum level. But with art world networking on hiatus during the 2020-21 pandemic and lockdown, Mat realized that there is not only no art world to work there also is no guarantee it will operate as it did in the past when it does reconstitute.
Mat’s solution for artists is to take this year to go deeper into timing the biorhytms of your art practice in order to maximize your career possibilities when the dust of current history has settled. Mat has created a structured tutorial in understanding basic and intermediate astrology and devised methods for artists to then use this knowledge to better their art and career.
The seminar is broken into nine ZOOM classes, each lasting 60-90 minutes with ample time after for questions and review. Also included is a one hour astrological consultation, via zoom, with Mat to analyze your personal astrological birth chart as it relates to your art practice and career possibilities.
The classes are scheduled on the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of the first three weeks in February:
Week 1: Feb 1, 2, 3
Week 2: Feb 8, 9, 10
Week 3: Feb 15, 16, 17
Cost for the nine-session seminar and follow-up astrological consultation is $320.
A zoom link will be sent to all registered participants along with a list of additional reading materials. Some optional art assignments (aka homework) will be given.
